Thanks to the generous financial contributions from those around the country, progress continues to be made in the development of hospice and palliative care in Maine. The challenges are daunting, but with help, the progress can move forward.

We are:

  • Reaching out to underserved populations.

  • Providing educational opportunities for healthcare professionals to improve clinical practice

  • Identifying barriers and recommending solutions to improve access to quality end-of-life care services for family, friends, and neighbors.

  • Advocating for public policies that will create a more responsive environment for the future.

The future holds promise and together, we shall continue to bring needed changes to end-of-life care for all people in Maine.

Stewardship Donors

The Stewardship Circle grants all individual donors of gifts of $100 or more, or organizational donors of $1000 or more automatic membership in the Maine Hospice Council and Center for End-of-Life Care. Donors may choose to donate in memorial or tribute of someone, these donors have the memorial or tribute name following.
