Your support of the Maine Hospice Council and Center for End-of-Life Care will make an important difference in the quality of life experienced by individuals and families needing end-of-life care. The Council works collaboratively with health care organizations, providers, and consumers to identify and address critical issues of concern around end-of-life care. We provide education, training, advocacy and research to assist hospice programs and other healthcare providers, as well as terminally ill and bereaved persons around the state.
Donate your automobile!
Free towing & tax deductable
The Maine Hospice Council accepts automobile donations (cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc.). Donating your automobile is tax deductable and simple, and you get the benefit of knowing that your donation will help improve end-of-life care for thousands in Maine. All you have to do is complete the Vehicle Donation Form, and fax, mail, or email it in. You can even call in to our toll free number if you wish. As soon as your completed form is received, someone will contact you to confirm your donation and schedule a pick up. Everything is handled for you; towing, title processing, etc. And the best news for you; the better the car, the better the tax deduction.

If you would like to donate to the Maine Hospice Council through an online payment. PayPal makes it fast and easy. PayPal members can pay directly from their checking or credit card accounts. Many employers have matching gift funds to support their employees' charitable choices. Ask your human resources representative about their matching gift programs. If there are forms for us to complete, please include these with your completed donation form and we will take it from there.

These gifts are welcomed and may result in capital gains tax savings, income tax deduction, and removing this asset from your estate for the estate tax purposes. Contact your broker or financial planner to designate Council to receive your gifts.

You can support our program and enjoy benefits through future estate tax savings, current income tax savings, creation of an income stream for life, and a reduction of capital gains taxes. You can make a financial commitment from your will, living trust, or other estate plan to support the continued work of the Council.
