Become a Member of the Council!

The Maine Hospice Council and Center for End-of-Life Care is a membership organization. Individuals and organizations are encouraged to join. Members help determine the Council's work plan through participation in forums, events, and surveys as well as providing an important source of sustainable income. As a member, your or your organization will enjoy the following benefits:

  • A subscription to the Council's quarterly newsletter MaineLink.

  • A subscription to the weekly national e-newsletter Hospice News Network.

  • Access to the Council's lending library.

  • Reduced registration at educational events like the Maine Pain Initiative Symposium.

  • Forums such as the Provider Advisory Committee, Social Work Focus Groups, and the Volunteer and Bereavement Coordinators meetings.

  • Advocacy at the local, state, and national levels.

  • Participation in annual survey of end-of-life care issues, the results of which help to inform the Council's workplan.

  • An invitation to the Council's annual meeting.

  • Members are acknowledged one our website and newsletter. The web listing may include a link.
